Author Bio

In addition to being an author, Gareth Young is a successful businessman and entrepreneur, an ordained and practicing Zen priest, a husband and a father.

His business career began in public accounting in the UK, a profession that brought Gareth to the USA, where he added the CPA qualification to his Chartered Accountancy credentials and received a number of awards. He left public accounting for mainstream corporate America, where he spent a decade leading the development and execution of business expansion strategies through M&A, partnerships, and other transactions for a Fortune 50 company. Gareth was drawn to spirituality and to writing, and after several years of transition, finally left corporate employment in early 2006. In addition to The Grace of Guilt, he has two books pending publication and a thriving consulting business.

A graduate of Jesus College, Oxford in the UK, with an MA in mathematics, Mr. Young is married with two teenage children and splits his time between Atlanta and the mountains of North Carolina. He is actively involved in youth and spiritual activities.
